Description
A hunted man. A people in struggle. An odyssey for freedom.
In February 2021, Myanmar was plunged into dictatorship. Kyar Pauk, a superstar of the Burmese art scene and a figure of resistance, became one of the military’s targets. Hunted down, he was forced to flee with his two daughters. With emotion and humour, Kyar Pauk takes us on his journey from Yangon to Paris via the jungle, while continuing to fight for his ideals of freedom.
A vibrant and universal tale that tells of the reality of exile and the courage of those who fight for democracy.
